Before (left) and after (right).

We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine (BCSM, Boulder Center for Sports Medicine — not to be confused BDSM!  Although some of the physiological testing felt that way).

The Boulder Center for Sports Medicine is changing me — not just the way I ride my bike, indeed, the professionals here are teaching me the right way to ride, recover, eat, and live as a full-time bike racer.  And wow, are they good at what they do.

The first thing they changed about me was my fit on the bike.  I have had a fair bit of fit examination and refinement over the years, and while I didn’t think I had it perfect, most people told me my fit looked pretty darn good.  Not good enough for BCSM standards!  The new Specialized Romin saddle allowed my to tilt my pelvis forward naturally, opening up my hips.

Many thanks (and some cookies) to everyone at the Boulder Center who has done so much for me; Dr. Pruitt, Rob, Sean, and Robin!
