Go Jens!

We here at RudyRides love Jens Voigt. Remember this? And– even better– this? He may have the best attitude of any pro cyclist out there— and he’s tough to boot. As evidence, I present you this quote from an article in today’s New York Times on the crash-filled early stages of this years’ TdF:

“Remember in the ancient Rome, the gladiator fights they had?” Voigt said. “It’s going to be awesome, it’s spectacular for the people on the sofa, having a little Bud Lite on the side, but for us poor fellows on the road there, for us it’s terrible. It’s hard, dangerous, stressful and basically has chaos, mayhem and broken bones all over it.”
